Student Pickup at Dismissal

Due to safety and security measures, we want to remind our families about the student pickup protocol at dismissal:

  • Teachers and staff members can only release students to their parents, legal guardians and individuals listed on the emergency contacts list.
  • If for some reason you need another individual to pickup your child please reach out to your homeroom teacher as well as the office staff by emailing them at highlands@ausd.us. This way they can make the arrangements and assist you with the release in case of emergencies.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation so we can make sure the highest safety measures are in place!
