🌟 Carver Elementary School Announcement 🌟

We are excited to celebrate and recognize three outstanding individuals who go above and beyond for our students and school community each and every day!

Teacher of the Year: Mrs. McCoy

Mrs. McCoy is the true definition of a master teacher. Her expertise in instruction and classroom management sets a high bar for excellence. She not only leads with knowledge but with heart—serving as a mentor to beginning teachers and consistently supporting their growth. As our Rocket Math teacher, she keeps students excited about learning while ensuring they meet and exceed expectations. Her dedication and leadership are an inspiration to us all!

Beginning Teacher of the Year: Ms. Stroud

Ms. Stroud has quickly made her mark at Carver! Her students absolutely love her, and it’s clear why—she shows up every day with energy, care, and a commitment to growth. Always seeking feedback, she often asks, “What can I do differently?” or “How did I do during that observation?” Her drive to continuously improve and do what’s best for her students is truly admirable.

Teacher Assistant of the Year: Ms. Vaughn

Ms. Vaughn is the kind of teammate every school dreams of. No matter the task, she steps in with a smile and a positive attitude—never complaining, always helping. Even during her pregnancy, she continues to be a dependable and dedicated member of our team. We are so grateful for her selfless spirit and the support she provides to our teachers and students alike.

Please join us in congratulating Mrs. McCoy, Ms. Stroud, and Ms. Vaughn!

Your hard work, heart, and commitment to our All-Star students do not go unnoticed!
