Message from Mrs. Morgan:
April is an exciting time at Sharon Elementary as we head into the final stretch of the school year! We are proud of the hard work our students are showing each day.
πWe are incredibly proud to share that our school was voted Best Elementary School in Walton County in the Readersβ Choice Awards by the Walton Tribune! π
This honor is a true testament to the dedication, passion, and hard work of our amazing teachers and staff who go above and beyond every day to support our students. It also reflects the strong partnership we share with our families and community.
Thank you for believing in our school and for being part of what makes our Jaguar family so special!
We will be presented with our Banner on Wednesday, April 1st!

For Parents: How to Support Your Child
- Ensure your child gets plenty of rest each night during testing.
- Provide a healthy breakfast on testing mornings.
- Arrive at school on time to help your child start the day calmly.
- Encourage effort, not perfection. Remind your child that doing their best is what matters most.
- Keep routines consistent at home during testing week.
- Avoid scheduling appointments during testing times whenever possible.
- Offer positive encouragement and celebrate their hard work.

β PBIS β
At Sharon Elementary, we use PBIS β Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports β to help create a safe, respectful, and welcoming school environment where all students can learn and grow. PBIS is a school-wide approach that focuses on teaching and encouraging positive behaviors. Just like students learn math or reading, we believe behavior should be taught, practiced, and celebrated!
As Jaguars, we ROAR. We are Respectful, Organized, Accepting, and Responsible. Please review and remind your child that we want to ROAR every day in the cafeteria, hallways, playground, and in the classroom.
Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade will celebrate with:
April (4/30/26) Popsicles & Playground
May (5/15/26) Bingo and Blow pops
2nd-5th Grade:
The Fourth Quarter roar party is May 18, 2026: 4th quarter (kickball, game time (board games or electronics, teacherβs choice)
The April Character trait word is Self-Control.
