Michigan Design Prize Challenge
Day of Design! All WBSD elementary schools created furniture prototypes
THE CHALLENGE: to create a furniture concept that provides a solution for individuals with unique needs
THE GOAL: great ideas versus polished products
Middle school students visited to lend a hand, as well as our partners from Sundberg-Ferar and TMP Architecture, Inc. We can’t wait to see the designs!
Congratulations to WBHS Athletic Director, Eric Pierce!
WBSD is proud to share that Eric Pierce has been named MIAAA Region 11 Athletic Director of the Year, an honor earned through peer nomination representing a large region of Southeastern Michigan.
Since joining WB in 2001, Pierce has served WBSD in various capacities, including dedicated teacher, coach, and administrator. As Athletic Director, his leadership has guided Laker Nation to multiple state championships and countless district, regional, and league titles, while expanding WBHS to 39 varsity sports programs.
Pierce will be recognized this March at the MIAAA State Conference in Traverse City. Join us in congratulating him on this outstanding achievement!
