MMS Update
Week of March 30th
End of 3rd Quarter
Greetings MMS Families,
It’s hard to believe we are already at the end of the third quarter! Time has truly flown by at MMS, and it’s a reflection of the energy, engagement, and joy our students and staff bring to school each day. As we wrap up this quarter, we encourage families to check in with their students about their academic progress and to remind them to reach out to their teachers with any questions or for extra support. This week also marks the exciting start of our spring sports season, please be sure your student-athlete is prepared and ready for the first practices!
Thank you for your continued support throughout the past three quarters, and we wish everyone a wonderful week!

Special Education Survey
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We hope this notice finds you and your family well. As part of our commitment to providing the best possible support and resources for students receiving special education services, we invite you to participate in the annual Parent Involvement survey conducted by the New Hampshire Department of Education (NHED).
This brief survey is to gauge the level of parent involvement in our schools and how it contributes to improving services and outcomes for children with special education. All responses are anonymous, so you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and experiences openly.
To access the survey, simply visit this website.
Each child's experience is unique, so please complete a separate survey for each child receiving special education services in your family. Your input directly influences the decisions made at district and state levels regarding special education services.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education.

Invitation from Laura's World
Laura's World Fund does a great deal for our school system. Recently, we build a new snack shed at the high school to be used by all sporting teams and events, last year and this year we are providing financial support to juniors who need funds for prom as well as seniors who need funding to attend senior week activities, Over the last many years we have given numerous scholarships to graduating seniors. Lastly, we help fund the caring cupboard in all of the Merrimack Schools. It is important to us that our community celebrates twenty years of Laura's World Fund and what we have accomplished in memory of Laura. Pease consider joining us as we look back at where we have been, and where we are headed. Also, please share this event with anyone you believe would like to celebrate with us.

Dismissal/Visiting Procedures
In our ongoing effort to increase school security, we have the following procedures when parents/guardians come to our school during school hours. Thank you all for your understanding.
Dismissal - If dismissing a student, we ask that an authorized dismissing parent/guardian show their ID in the foyer, and then wait in that location for the dismissed student to meet you.
Dropping off items - If a parent/guardian is dropping off an item for a student, we ask that they leave it in the designated area in the foyer.
Visiting the school - If parents/guardians are arriving for a scheduled meeting, we ask that they show their ID in the foyer and then sign in at the main office to receive a visitor pass.
