Testing Support
ACT & SAT Testing
Standardized Testing is a requirement for most college application processes. The vast majority of all colleges accept either ACT and/or SAT scores, so focusing on one test or another, or both, are all good strategies. Although there are many paid test prep opportunities available to students and families outside of Parkway West High School, we offer several FREE test prep opportunities at West High as well.

Volunteer Opportunity
Camp Circle Star
Camp Circle Star provides Summer Day Camp experiences to people with disabilities. They are currently looking for volunteers to support campers 1:1. Volunteers must be 16 or older. Camp hours are 8 am - 4 pm. Training and support is provided.

Summer Opportunities
Blackwell Research Institute
Application Deadline: May 17th
Application are now open for Blackwell's Summer High School Research Program. This is an opportunity for students to conduct a STEM research project with one-on-one mentorship from a PhD researcher in their field of interest. Blackwell supports student projects across all STEM disciplines, from biology to neuroscience to math to engineering. At the end of the program, students have the opportunity to publish their research in a journal or present at a symposium.

Maryville Coding Camp
Program Dates: July 13th - July 17th | 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Become a STEM innovator! The Maryville Coding Camp offers a week-long full day program crafted to enhance students' understanding of coding and its applications in the contemporary world. This year, participants will engage in hands-on activities using state-of-the-art technologies. Students can choose from a diverse range of coding activities, including crafting music with Python code, delving into Game Design, and exploring various other coding experiences.
