Preliminary ACT Aspire Results Presented

Mrs. Yaa McNulty, the Coordinator of Accountability, Assessment, and Data Management, presented preliminary results from the 2023 ACT Aspire exams, which were taken in the spring. Eight out 13 schools in the North Little Rock School District showed an increase in achievement for English Language Arts and math!

District Recognized for Energy Conservation Practices

Twelve district buildings have earned EPA’s ENERGY STAR® Certification! This recognition is presented to the most energy efficient buildings in the country.

This recognition was made during the August Regular Board Meeting. Representatives from Cenergistic, our energy conservation consultant, made the presentation to board members.

Board Approves Contract with Public Relations Firm

The Board of Education approved a six month contract with Woodberry Associates, a Washington, D.C.-based public relations firm. The firm will support the Communications Office with communication strategy to convey the district's long range vision and commitment to academic excellence.

The Communications Office is staffed with one person.
