Early Learning Assessment

Ohio’s Early Learning Assessment is a tool for teachers of preschool age children to learn about the current level of each child’s skills, knowledge and behaviors in the areas of Social Foundations, Language and Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Well-Being and Motor Development, and Fine Arts

Teachers assess students in the fall and the spring. Results will be documented and shared with parents during conferences.

Our Culture Blueprint

Our Focus on Growth: Fueling Future Dreams

This month we are focusing on the following initiatives: Growth Drives Dreams; Devote time to listen and connect; Relate to cultivate trust.
In the classrooms, teachers will use these phrases and acknowledge when students are demonstrating these initiatives. The timeline below outlines our focus for every month of the school year.

📢 PTO News & Updates: Fall Success and Holiday Planning! 🎁

We've had a fantastic few months of fundraising and are thrilled to share the results and what we're planning next!

💰 Fundraising Success Highlights

We're excited to announce the final totals for our recent fundraisers:

  • Mum Sale: We raised an incredible $2,920! Thank you to everyone who participated.

  • LaRosa's Pizzeria Night: This brought in an additional $143.47 for the PTO.

These funds directly support activities and purchases that benefit our students and school community!

🎶 New Equipment and Upcoming Plans

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to purchase two MP3 players. These will be used to provide music and fun during various school events, including:

  • The Halloween Parade

  • Gingerbread Night

  • The Glow Walk

Holiday Planning

As the holidays approach, we are focusing on two main projects:

  1. Classroom Gifts: We are planning a small holiday gift for each classroom to show our appreciation.

  2. Big-Ticket Item: We're currently brainstorming and researching a large, enduring item that all students can utilize and enjoy for years to come. If you have any suggestions for a big-ticket item, please let us know!

🗓️ Next Fundraiser

Mark your calendars! Our next fundraiser is a night out at Krimmer's on Saturday, December 2nd. More details on the time and specific event will be sent out soon.

Thank you again for your continued support!
