Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year
Dear Grant Families,
It is an absolute honor and privilege to continue this journey with you as your school leader at Grant Elementary. As we step into a new school year, I want to first say: I hope this summer offered you time to rest, breathe deeply, connect with loved ones, and tend to your joy. For me, that meant cherishing time with family, discovering new places, and indulging in my husband’s delicious cooking—an underrated superpower!
After this much-needed pause, our team is re-energized and ready to greet your children with open hearts and high expectations. We’ve missed them. We’re ready to teach, nurture, listen, and learn from them. We’re ready to show up—not just academically, but in every way that helps them grow into confident, curious, and compassionate individuals.
Our incredible custodial team has been working tirelessly this summer to prepare a clean, welcoming space for all. Please join me in thanking them for their dedication. Their work behind the scenes is essential to everything we do.
Please note that
📅 The first day of school is Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
🕣 School begins at 8:35 AM, and doors will open at 8:15 AM for breakfast.
This year, we remain deeply committed to growing our partnership with you—our families. You are your child’s first and forever teacher, and your voice matters in every decision we make. Together, we will continue shaping a school community rooted in kindness, equity, joy, curiosity, and justice.
Please read below for important updates and information. Grant's School Calendar is linked to the bottom of this page and soon will be linked to our website. Additionally, printed copies will be sent out the first week of school.
And as always, my door is open—physically and metaphorically. I look forward to seeing you and your scholars soon.
In Partnership,
Dr. Tatiana
