Early Dismissal Notice-Important!

On Friday, December 20, 2024, K-2 Davis and Lane Schools will have early dismissals (12:05 pm for Davis and 11:30 am for Lane). The school committee has approved these early dismissals in order to provide classroom K-5 classroom teachers extended periods of time to review upcoming units and develop consistent plans for implementation of the new CKLA literacy curriculum.

Morning Preschool Dismissal Change on 12/20: To ensure the safe and timely pick-up of preschool students prior to the half-day dismissal for K-2 students on Friday, December 20, Morning Preschool Classes will dismiss early at 11:45 AM. This adjustment is made to avoid overlap with the K-2 dismissal. Pick-up procedures will remain the same. Please note that no cars will be allowed in the bus loop after 12:00 PM as buses will begin arriving to pick up K-2 students. Pick-up for full-day preschool students is not affected and will occur at the regular time, 2:35 PM. Thank you for your cooperation!

As we send out our last Scribbles of the new year we wanted to take a moment and say thank you to all of you for working with us. We know the Winter Break can look and feel different for many families, we hope you are able to find some peaceful and joyful moments during this break. We are excited to continue on and watch the learning unfold at Davis School in 2025!
