Inside Scoop
Hockinson High School - 2024-2025
February 14, 2025
Hello, Hawks:
I hope this message finds you well and staying warm during this winter season. As we move through February, I want to take a moment to update you on a few important topics.
First, I want to acknowledge the recent bond measure that did not pass. While this is disappointing, our commitment to providing the best possible education for our students has not changed. We will continue to explore solutions that support our facilities and programs. There is no lose - we Win or Learn.
Two snow days! Schedule adjustments are tough, especially as the winter sports season comes to a conclusion. Please keep an eye on SportsYou, social media, or our website for any potential makeup days or schedule changes. I hope you were able to stay warm. Personally, I find snow to be beautiful...from indoors. My kids did manage to convince me to take them sledding. And, yeah, I had a little fun, too.
Finally, today is Valentine’s Day! It’s a great time to celebrate kindness and appreciation within our school community. Whether through a simple note, a kind word, or an act of service, don't be afraid to show some love.

Bystander CPR Training with Fire District 3
Thank you to Fire District 3 and Mrs. Kathy Pacheco for organizing and supporting our efforts on creating a culture of safety and care in our school! Our students were absolutely locked in and engaged. Proof? Kaia Sanderfer, a senior, had to perform CPR on her grandmother after school on the day we had the assembly! Great job, Kaia! And I hear grandma is doing okay.
