PAC Meeting this Tuesday
GHS Parents Advisory Council (PAC)
Please join us this Tuesday, February 18 at 6pm in the first floor of the GHS library for the monthly PAC meeting. In addition to updates from Principal Schnee about GHS, we will start planning the Staff Appreciation Week. Please bring any ideas on how we can show how much we value the fabulous GHS staff.
If you miss the meeting, or to view information from previous meetings, please visit GHS PAC Parent Resources. Highlights, as well as the schedule for upcoming PAC meetings can be accessed there.
The officers of the GHS PAC hope to see you this week and at future meetings. They are a great way to gain valuable information about initiatives affecting GHS students, faculty, and staff. There is no ongoing commitment required - attend as often as you would like!
Please send any questions to GallatinHighPAC@gmail.com, or reach out to one of this year's officers.

We still need 8 families to host a Japanese student from our sister school in Okinawa this spring!
We still need 8 families to host a Japanese student from our sister school in Okinawa this spring!
Naha Kokusai Secondary School in Okinawa, Japan, has been Gallatin High’s Sister School since 2020. Teachers and administration on both sides of the exchange have been working to coordinate a visit from Okinawan students to Gallatin High and the Bozeman Community this spring.
Currently, we are looking for families/couples to host these 20 students and 2 teachers from Okinawa. This document (click here for more details) gives an overview of the responsibilities expected of, and opportunities offered to, host families. If you are willing and able to explore this wonderful opportunity for cross-cultural exchange, please complete the interest form. Thank you for your interest!

Volunteers Needed
Many students have expressed that they would really enjoy if the library was open during the lunch hour. However, our librarians are busy supervising several clubs during the lunch hour. Project Connect has graciously volunteered to help coordinate supervision so the library can be open to support students.
If you are willing to help supervise the library at lunch, please follow the volunteer instructions at the Project Connect website (link here Project Connect) You can also reach out directly to Project Coordinator, Ashley Crane at 406-580-7760 or gallatinhighprojectconnect@gmail.com. Thank you!
