27 consecutive Long Course Age Group Championship titles. What an incredible accomplishment!
While winning 27 in a row is something we're proud of, this championship has always been about so much more than the plaques and championship banners. It's a reflection of the incredible swimmers who show up every day ready to work, learn, and represent NOVA with pride. Your commitment, resilience, and character continue to amaze us both in and out of the pool.
To our families—thank you. Your sacrifices, support, and unwavering commitment to the NOVA program make all of this possible. Early mornings, long weekends, endless drives, and constant encouragement are the foundation of everything we accomplish together.
To our coaching staff—thank you for your passion and dedication. We are fortunate to have one of the finest coaching staffs in the country, from our youngest swimmers to our national-level athletes. Their willingness to constantly learn, evolve, and find ways to improve is what keeps our program moving forward year after year.
At NOVA, we believe in swimming fast, setting high expectations in and out of the water, and just as importantly, creating an environment where athletes love coming to practice. We work hard, we have fun, and we strive to build a family atmosphere where everyone belongs. We don't get everything right every step of the way, but we are committed to learning, growing, and becoming better every single year.
On a personal note, I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of the NOVA family for the past 27 years. Watching generations of swimmers, families, and coaches contribute to this culture has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Here's to celebrating this amazing team, this incredible community, and looking forward to many more years together.
Congratulations, NOVA! The streak is special—but the people behind it are what make this program truly extraordinary.

NOVA headed to Liberty University this past weekend to race against the state at VSI's Age Group Champs. NOVA finished with finesse and flare, earning its 27th consecutive LC Age Group Championship banner!
The swimmers filled the weekend with energy, enthusiasm and support for their teammates, working hard for their “built different” swims and bringing out their team spirit every time they stepped on deck.
This meet was full of fast swimming, new time standards, new team records, and new state records. Please enjoy the reports below with information about our swimmers' accomplishments!

NOVA's 2026-2027 Short Course meet schedule is posted to the NOVA website HERE!
The last practice of NOVA’s 2025-2026 season is July 21, 2026. On July 27, 2026, all swimmers will be coded as “Waiting for Approval” in SportsEngine until the registration process is completed for the new season.
Registration documents will be EMAILED on Tuesday July 28th. This is a change from previous years, so please make sure that the email associated with your SportsEngine account is current and able to receive emails from novabusinessoffice@novaswim.org.
Your registration email will include a letter with your swimmer(s) recommended group, 2026-27 rates, and 2026-27 practice schedule.
Once you have received your recommendation, you will need to log into SportsEngine and find the blue circle “2026-27 Registration.” Complete each step of the registration process, ending with payment of the $125 registration fee using a credit card that will be kept on file.
We strongly recommend completing registration on a computer rather than a phone or tablet, as the process is generally easier and more reliable.
As registrations are completed, your swimmers will be coded as “Active.” Registering early will ensure your swimmer is activated in time to receive preseason emails from coaches with important group-specific information before the season begins.
