June Newsletter
Dear Northridge Families,
As the academic year draws to a close, I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and partnership. This year has been filled with remarkable growth, learning, and countless memorable moments for our students.
Our students have truly excelled, not just academically, but also in their development as responsible, compassionate, and engaged young individuals. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the positive impact they've made within our school community. Thank you for entrusting us with their education and for being such an integral part of their journey.
Summer Break: Rest, Recharge, and Explore
Summer offers a wonderful opportunity for our students to relax, recharge, and explore new interests. While itβs important to take a break, we also encourage them to keep their minds engaged. Here are a few suggestions for a productive and enjoyable summer:
Keep Reading: Encourage your child to read for pleasure. Whether it's fiction, non-fiction, or graphic novels, reading helps maintain literacy skills and opens up new worlds. Many local libraries offer fantastic summer reading programs.
Stay Active: Promote physical activity. Organized sports, outdoor games, or simply spending time outside can make a big difference in overall well-being.
Explore Hobbies: Summer is a great time to delve into new or existing hobbies, whether itβs art, music, coding, or volunteering.
Safety First: Please reinforce important safety messages regarding online interactions, water activities, and general outdoor play.
We are already eagerly anticipating the next school year and preparing for another year of exciting learning. Please keep an eye on our school website and your email for important information regarding registration, orientation dates, and the first day of school. We will share these details as soon as they are finalized.
On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, I wish you and your children a safe, joyful, and restful summer break. We look forward to welcoming our returning students back in the fall, and extend our best wishes to our eighth graders as they embark on their high school journeys.
