Newsletter to PHHS Families
April 2026
Brief Message From the Principal
Dear Pirate Families,
As we move into the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to share a few important reminders and updates from Pleasant Hope High School.
First, we are now just one month away from End-of-Course (EOC) testing. This is an important time for our students to stay focused, continue working hard in their classes, and prepare to demonstrate what they have learned throughout the year. We appreciate your support at home in encouraging good study habits and a positive mindset as we approach these assessments.
Attendance remains a critical factor in student success. Being present in class each day ensures that students do not miss valuable instruction and opportunities to learn. As we near the end of the year, every day counts, and we encourage families to make school attendance a top priority.
This is also one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year at PHHS. Our students are actively involved in a wide range of activities and athletics, including baseball, softball, and track. We are proud of the dedication and effort our students show both in the classroom and in their extracurricular pursuits. We encourage you to come out and support our Pirates as they represent our school and community.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we can help our students finish the year strong.
Sincerely,
Jered Brown
Principal
