Attendance - Please make sure that that you are logging all absences into Skyward as well as uploading any doctor note you may have.

Please bring your student car tag to dismissal. If you are late or do not have your car tag, you will need to check your child out at the office with your ID. Please make sure that you have all of your emergency contacts in Skyward. If they are not listed in Skyward, they will not be allowed to pick-up your child.
Dismissal changes - If you need to change your child's dismissal for the day (how they typically go home), you need to notify the office before 1:30 pm. Please do not solely email their teacher as they may not see the email until after dismissal. Additionally, if you have an older student as well, the office needs to be aware of the dismissal change for both. We can not rely on the older sibling to let them know. This is for the safety of all the kiddos.
Headphones: Send headphones with your child’s name on them please. No wireless headphones or USB plugs.
HOMEROOM APP: Please download this app - CODE will differ per teacher.

Volunteer Background Check - Anyone that wants to volunteer throughout the school year is required to complete a background check. I always encourage all parents to complete this at the beginning of the year just in case they would need it!

Elementary Curriculum Maps

No birthday party invitations may be passed out during the school day.
Invitations may be placed in backpacks at the end of the day with the instruction that they are to be opened at home. There must be an invitation for everyone in the class.
Due to life threatening allergies, cupcakes, etc. are not able to be brought to school for student birthdays. Please refer to the PISD Student Handbook for further explanation.
