Campus Updates and Information
Attendance
During the December 21 - January 6 winter break from school, we are grateful to everyone for helping to restore a routine for showing up to school while supporting students and families.
We appreciate everyone’s efforts to avoid taking extra time off during the winter break. As long as your child is healthy, please encourage showing up to class when school is in session.
Every day of school is an important opportunity for students to develop personally, socially and academically.
We thank:
- Our students and their families who do their best to show up daily even when it isn’t easy.
- Our teachers who go above and beyond to make school a welcoming and safe place for all students to learn.
- Our administrators who help us work together to ensure we create a physically and emotionally safe and engaging learning environment.
- Our many, many healers and helpers - the support staff and community volunteers who provide the extra hands and attention our children need.
We look forward to seeing you again when school resumes on January 7th!
Thank you for partnering with us!
Classroom Holiday Parties Thursday
- Teachers may invite up to two parents to assist in classroom holiday parties this week. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you are interested in volunteering to help.
Volunteers needed Wednesday
"Parents, we are planning to provide our staff with lunch off campus on 12/18 sponsored by Comerica! To reward out teachers with time to step off campus and get lunch we are asking for parents to support with covering recess duty! If you would like to support, please use THIS LINK to sign up for a time slot ( or multiple 🙂) ! Thank you for your continued support for our staff and students!!! "

Hygiene Products and Winter Clothing
We are excited to share that we now have a hygiene closet stocked with male and female products available for any family in need. Additionally, as the temperatures drop, we are providing winter coats to ensure our students stay warm during the colder months.
If your family could benefit from either resource, please reach out to Counselor Green (lwinfield@dallasisd.org) . We will discreetly ensure your student is sent home with what they need. We’re here to support our Lipscomb Lions!
