Dear SEACH Families,
As another school year comes to a close, I want to thank you for sharing your children with us each day. Their smiles, energy, curiosity, and growth are what make Seach such a special place. We are grateful for your support and partnership throughout the year and for all the ways you help make our school community stronger.
We hope your summer is filled with sunshine, laughter, family time, and plenty of opportunities to make wonderful memories. Please be sure to check your email throughout the summer for important updates and back-to-school information. Below, you will find student supply lists for next year, along with a few important dates to help you prepare for the start of next school year.
Have a wonderful summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall!
- Seach Summer Playdates: One of the things we hear over and over again is that our kids miss seeing their friends over the summer—and parents miss having opportunities to connect, too.
This summer, the Seach Parent Council is excited to introduce Seach Summer PlayDays, a simple, low-key way for our community to stay connected during July and August. For more information check th Parent Council Corner below!
- 2026-2027 Bus Transportation Information: The 2026-2027 School Year Bus Application will be posted on the District’s website on Friday, June 26, 2026. The Transportation Department has been sending out weekly pre-filled bus applications to all registered families in the district since May 14, 2026. The FINAL pre-filled bus application will be sent on Monday, June 29, 2026.
- Teen Center Info for Incoming 6th Graders! Did you know you can start going to the Weymouth Youth and Family Services’ Teen Center on your last day of 5th Grade? The Weymouth Teen Center is open to incoming 6th Graders this summer, Monday-Thursday from 2pm-6pm and Friday from 2pm-9pm. Check it out!

William Seach Elementary Playground
What can you expect?
Playground and field fun
Bubbles, games, and simple activities
Time for families to connect
A welcoming environment for all Seach families
There is no registration, no cost, and no commitment. Come once, come every week, or stop by whenever your schedule allows. Bring a blanket or chairs, pack a snack if you'd like, and let the kids play while we enjoy some summer evenings together.
At Seach, we're more than just a school—we're a community. We hope these evenings make summer feel a little smaller and help our children and families stay connected until we gather again in September.
We hope to see you this summer!
