Parent Question -

What do you want to learn or know about?

Last week I shared a few fun facts about our staff. This week I am wanting to know what is heavy on your heart or what you are curious about. Parenting is HARD. "Adulting" is HARD! I am wanting to find ways to support YOU. There are multiple fun things we can do as a school to set up and support YOU and your family. We can have a "counselor coffee" morning where we discuss specific topics. We can have a "principal chat" where I can give you an overview on specific topics. We can have a health and wellness night where I bring in Vero Fitness or a local chiropractor to give insight of different things offered in our community or tips and tricks to try at home. We can plan a STEAM night where parents bring their expertise to our building and we host stations with different STEAM related topics. We can host a literacy night or math night and help parents understand homework or grade level expectations so that you can support you kiddo at home... there is so much opportunity for us to support YOU.

So please take a minute and let me know what you would be interested in, or have a question about, or are wondering!

Truman Elementary 10 and 2 Initiative:

This may be the most PROUD post I have made in my three years at Truman Elementary thus far. These students, this staff, and all around this Tribe...has me smiling ear to ear.
Please ENJOY the video below as you see how contagious a smile is and how important confidence in ourselves and sharing that with others can impact our lives, each and every day.
