Need to Know Announcements

Please talk with your student about the importance of safety on Monday while viewing the eclipse. We will be talking to them as well.
Our Health Fair is Monday night from 5-6:30! We will have games, hot dogs, and over 30 organizations sharing all of the resources our community offers! We will be giving away Hellstern water bottles and other prizes!! Please join us!!
ATLAS will be given on April 30th, May 1st, and May 2nd. Spring MAP tests will be given on May 7th and 8th. Please avoid checkouts. Attendance on these dates is very important.
Many teachers have expressed that students are asking about Spring Fling dates. We will not be hosting a spring dance this year.

Do you ever ask your child about his/her day and you get a shoulder shrug? or "it was fine"? If this is the case, use these questions to ask your child about school - let's get them talking!

Science 7 - What is a piece of evidence Wegener had for the theory of continental drift?

Science 6 - What is the purpose of a Punnett Square?

Social Studies 6 -How is England’s Magna Carta similar to in the U.S.?

Social Studies 7 -Explain the significance of the War of 1812.

Math 6 - What is a percent?

Math 7 -How many faces does a triangular prism have? rectangular prism?

Acc. Math 7 -How do you calculate surface area of any solid?

ELA 6 -Define theme.

ELA 7 - What are some of the rhetorical techniques used in the speeches we’ve read in class?

Central Open House

April 11th from 4:00 - 5:00 we are opening the new Central Junior High to our Central Families. We encourage you to come walk the building and see our amazing state of the art facilities. Hope to see you there!

We will have Hellstern students over during the day in MAY 16th; and another open house for Hellstern students, parents, and community May 16th from 4:00 - 5:00.
