Principal Message Principal Message

This week we celebrated our School Counselor Mrs. Mundigler. I want to take a moment to highlight the important work our school counselor, Mrs. Mundigler, does to support the emotional, social, and academic growth of all of our students. Whether through individual counseling, small group sessions, or classroom lessons, Mrs. Mundigler creates a safe and supportive space for students to express themselves, learn valuable skills, and grow in confidence. She works closely with students to help them navigate challenges, develop positive relationships, and strengthen skills that will serve them both in and outside the classroom. Please join me in our gratitude for Mrs. Mundigler.

Dinner Discussions Dinner Discussions

Dinner Discussions:

Your child is having circle conversations with their peers in school every week. It is a way to get to know each other by building a classroom community. You can try similar conversations at home to strengthen family relationships and create meaningful moments together.

It’s easy to do! Be in a space with your child (car, dinner table, walking the dog). Ask your family members a question - everyone answers, everyone listens. That’s it!

Fun and Lighthearted Prompts:

  • If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

  • What made you smile or laugh the most today?

  • If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

Reflective Prompts:

  • What is something you learned today that surprised you?

  • What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?

  • Who is someone you admire and why?

Creative Prompts:

  • If you could design your dream house, what would it look like?

  • What would you invent to make life easier or more fun?

  • If you were writing a book or making a movie, what would it be about?

Problem-Solving/Discussion Prompts:

  • What’s one challenge you faced today, and how did you handle it?

  • If you could change one rule (at school, at home, or anywhere), what would it be?

  • What’s one way we could help someone in our community this week?

Connection Prompts:

  • What’s your favorite memory of us as a family?

  • If you could spend an entire day with someone (living or not), who would it be and why?

  • What’s one thing you think is really special about each person at this table?
