March is almost here, and we can’t wait to celebrate Read Across America Week and our Champion of Kindness Spirit Week! As a special treat, every classroom will get to enjoy a story shared by a special guest reader visiting from our school district or our amazing Muskego community!

Our Phy Ed classes have officially transformed into a winter sports arena as we kick off our exciting Olympic unit! We’ve been talking about all things Olympics! We already explored the unique sport of curling, where students practiced precision and teamwork by sliding "stones" towards the target. We then tried bobsledding, using gym mats and scooters to race around a winding course through the gym. Now, we are ready to hit the "ice" for hockey skills, focusing on stick handling, passing, and teamwork as we go for the gold. It has been inspiring to see everyone demonstrate the true Olympic spirit through sportsmanship and perseverance!

We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring your student’s success during test days. Testing will occur in the morning. Please refrain from scheduling any appointments (doctor, dentist, orthodontist, etc.) during testing times. Ensure your student(s) get adequate sleep, have a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time. Notify your child’s teacher as soon as possible if your child will be absent during the testing window.

From Monday, April 13 to April 17, specials and lunch schedules will be adjusted to provide an uninterrupted morning testing window.

We are excited to continue our Summer Learning Academy for Summer 2026! The course guidebook is in the process of being finalized and will be able to be viewed on our District website soon. We are looking forward to continuing to expand the varied course experiences for our students.

Join us for the spring session of After School Theater Classes at Mill Valley, where students will work on a mini-script of the beloved Disney-Pixar film, TOY STORY! We’ll explore the wonderful world of theater while learning how to build a character onstage. In addition to rehearsing and performing the script, students will play theater games and learn a song and dance from the movie, all while having a lot of fun!

The spring session at Mill Valley runs Wednesdays, 3:50-4:50 pm, March 18 - June 3 (11 weeks, no class 4/1). New and returning students are welcome; no experience necessary. Parents are invited to a special performance on the last day of class! Visit our website for more info or to register.
