Our First Fundraiser of the Year
Our First Fundraiser of the Year is Here!
On Friday (or maybe Monday), your child came home with a special lanyard from The School Store. This lanyard is the key to kicking off our first fundraiser of the year!
👉 Simply scan the QR code on the back to get started.
👉 Be sure to write the code on your child’s lanyard and send it back to school.
📌 Please note: Students must return the lanyard with the code written on it in order to receive a prize. Without the code, they will not be eligible.
Check out the video for more information: http://www.schoolstore.com/video
Thank you for supporting our school through this exciting fundraiser opportunity!
Breakfast and Lunch Menus
You may notice that Liberty Primary has two menus. The reason for this is that our 4K Experiential Program students are participating in family-style dining.
Family dining is a valuable part of their learning experience. During these meals, students sit together and practice:
Serving themselves in appropriate portions.
Using manners and engaging in conversation at the table.
Developing independence and responsibility.
Building social skills such as sharing, turn-taking, and helping one another.
This hands-on approach turns mealtime into an extension of the classroom, helping our youngest learners grow in confidence and community.
All other students will continue to follow the regular school menu, which is also a positive experience! In the cafeteria, students have the opportunity to make healthy choices, eat together as a school community, and build independence in a larger group setting.
Both meal experiences support our goal of helping students learn, grow, and thrive in every part of their school day.
Reminders
Morning Arrival Reminder
Just a reminder that school begins at 7:50 AM, and students should be in their classrooms and ready to learn by 7:50.
To allow students enough time to enter the building and make it to class, morning carline will close at 7:48 AM. At that time, the sign will be placed at the entrance to the parking lot, and any students arriving after the sign is out will need to be walked into the front office and signed in by an adult.
Our doors open at 7:20 AM, so there is plenty of time for students to arrive, get settled, and be ready for a great day. Thank you for helping us start each morning on time and ready to learn
Important Dismissal Information
Keeping dismissal safe, smooth, and efficient takes all of us! Please remember:
- 1:45 PM: All dismissal changes must be entered in PickUp Patrol by 1:45.
- 2:00 PM: Early dismissals must be completed through the front office before 2:00. Students will not be dismissed after 2:00 PM.
- Car Tags: You must have your physical car tag displayed for dismissal. Pictures of car tags will not be accepted. If you do not have your tag, you will be asked to park, come into the front office, and show a photo ID. Once verified, you may return to the carline for dismissal.
These procedures help us make sure every student gets to the right person and the right place safely. Thank you for helping us keep dismissal running smoothly!
Class Dojo
We’re excited to use Class Dojo schoolwide again this year! This free app/website is a great way to stay connected with your child’s class and our whole school by sharing pictures, updates, and events.
You should have already received an invite from your child’s teacher. If not, please contact them so you can get connected.
When you open the app, you may see offers for paid upgrades—please know these are optional. For all LPS communication and purposes, the free version is all you need.
Change of Clothes
It would be a HUGE help if all students had a change of clothes in their backpacks in case it is needed. While at school, there are times when students may spill lunch on their clothes or fall in mud at recess, and our younger friends may even have a bathroom accident. If they have a change of clothes in their backpack, it helps us tremendously and makes them feel confident in these situations. Please include a change of clothes in your child's backpack.
Thanks for your help in this matter!
Arrival and Dismissal Information
Backpack Tags
All students have a tag zip-tied to their bookbag to help our staff identify if they are a car rider, bus rider, or attend After School Care. Please do not remove this tag, as it will need to remain on the bookbag for the entire school year. If your child gets a new bookbag, simply inform their teacher, and we will provide a new tag.
WOLF 87.9 FM
We're excited to announce our new school radio station, WOLF 87.9 FM! Tune in during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up for important updates and directions to help make these times as smooth as possible. WOLF will provide real-time information to assist with the flow of traffic and ensure that all students are safely dropped off and picked up. We encourage all parents to listen in to stay informed and make the process easier for everyone.
2026-2027 Volunteer Training Process
We love having parents and family members involved at Liberty Primary! If you'd like to volunteer at school, chaperone field trips, or assist with school events, you'll need to complete our district's volunteer training and approval process. Once approved, you'll be ready to support our students throughout the school year. Check out the link below for more information. Questions? Contact Mrs. Carter at 864-397-4811 for information on how to get started—we'd love to have you as part of our LPS volunteer team!
