Hawk Choir Reminders
October 12-16
We held our first MS Region Clinic for students who will be auditioning for the TMEA Region 18 Middel School Treble and Tenor-Bass Choirs at McCormick MS.
It was so great to have students from WMS and BMS join us as they were led by our Student Director, Section Leaders, and students from the Hawk Choir Program, who were once choir members at these same middle schools!
Thank you, Mrs. Reyes and Mrs. Vielma, for bringing your students!
At this week's TMEA Practice, I would like everyone who made region to be present so that they can certify the pieces that were not auditioned for your parts.
Students moving on to Pre-Area auditions, we can take a look at that music once the choral music for Region is certified.
Come out for a SPOOKtacular time at this year's Choir Halloween Party. Costumes are highly encouraged.
If you would like to help with this event, please see the Sign Up Genius below.
Thank you!

The weather the day of Homecoming forced a decision to move this performance to the November 5th home game.
Students who will perform must fill out the google form below so that we have a head count and know how much pizza to get.
We look forward to performing with the Wallace MS and Barton MS 8th Graders!
The Spring Trip was presented at the Parent Meeting October 6th.
We will participate in a Choir Exchange with Flour Bluff High School. Students will practice and perform for each other with a Beach Party Saturday, April 17th. While down there, we will visit the Texas State Aquarium and take a ride on Neptune Charter Dolphin. All meals are paid for. Click the pic for more details.
The cost per person is only up by $3.00 from three years ago when we last went to Corpus Christi. Currently, the Choir Program is able to pay for half the cost of the bus for this event. If are able to secure donors for the other half of the bus, this would keep the cost of the trip from going up and could pave the way to raise money to potentially lower the per person cost of the trip.
There is a non-refundable deposit due December 4th. The sooner we know who is going on the trip the better. This trip is available to all Hawk Choir Members.
Contact Mr. Flores with any questions or donations.
