Cougars,

In Jarrell ISD, we believe that when a community comes together with a shared purpose, incredible things happen. The holiday season is a strong reminder of the importance of community and how working together makes a measurable difference.

Partnerships with community organizations have helped us provide essential resources and services to students across the district. Below are a few recent examples.

  • In October, campus employees donated more than 1,500 cans of food to the Jarrell Community Food Pantry. Through that partnership, we were able to serve 75 local families, helping more than 300 people.

  • For the third year in a row, our culinary arts students hosted "A Thanksgiving Meal for the Elderly" at the Jarrell Memorial Park and Community Center. Students cooked and served the meal. Then visited with their guests, listening to stories and life lessons through the lenses of the older generations.

  • Communities in Schools partnered with the Igo PTO, Double Creek Elementary School Student Council, Jarrell ISD Police Department, Williamson County Constable Precinct 4, and the Williamson County ESD #5/Jarrell Fire & Rescue to provide Thanksgiving meals and services to more than 358 families, supporting 1,675 people.

  • Jarrell High School students partnered with We Are Blood of Central Texas and made enough donations to save up to 48 lives.

  • Volunteers and mentors from Education Connection and the Kiwanis Club are helping elementary students improve their literacy skills.

  • Developers from the planned new community, Atlas Ranch, have graciously donated supplies and materials to support our high school students.

As Jarrell continues to grow, these partnerships become even more vital. Students feel more supported, families feel more connected, and our schools are better equipped to meet the growing needs of our community.

To every partner who gives their time, resources, and heart to support Jarrell ISD students and community, we thank you. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community—one that lifts every student and family.
