October Safety Focus
October is a great time to highlight school safety and remind our community how important it is to maintain a secure and caring learning environment. This month, our students and staff will be practicing lockdown drills as part of our ongoing safety routines. We encourage you to also talk with your child at home about why these drills are important and what they mean. When families, teachers, and students work together, we help make our school a safe and supportive place for everyone.
Morning Drop-Off & Dismissal Safety Reminder
To keep our students, families, and neighbors safe, we ask all parents and guardians to follow traffic guidelines during arrival and dismissal. Please avoid double parking, leaving vehicles unattended in unsafe areas, or parking on sidewalks. These practices create dangerous situations for children and families walking to and from school. In addition, please remember that the speed limit in the CAP Parking Lot is 5 mph. Please adhere to our speed limit when driving in our school campus. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and orderly environment for everyone.

Important Reminders
What a wonderful start to the school year! Our 5th graders had an amazing time on their tour of Citizen’s Bank Park, and our 1st graders learned all about the circulatory system with Mr. Dickson through exciting, hands-on games. Middle School sports are now in full swing, and extracurricular activities are off to a fantastic start. It’s been a joy to see our students settle into their routines, dive into the curriculum, and continue growing in their knowledge each day.
Now that we have the first month of school behind us, it’s important to make sure all students are in proper uniform. Uniforms help us show our school pride, create a sense of equality, and ensure students are ready to learn each day. Please click the button below to view our Uniform Infographic, which outlines the requirements for all students in grades K–8.
