Chromebook Info

All students are expected to bring a fully charged, laptop style device with a screen that is 10 inches or larger to school every day. Our 1 for All program is designed to help families meet this requirement by providing a touchscreen chromebook to students who pay a one time fee of $20 and who complete a required Canvas course. Click here to learn more about the 1 for all program.

  • 10th -12th graders who already have a Frisco ISD Chromebook, you do not need to pay the fee or take the class again!

  • 10th -12th graders who wish to join the 1 For All program will need to complete the Canvas Course AND email Mrs. Hampton at hamptonk@friscoisd.org to have the one-time, $20 fee added to their Online School Fees account. Once the course is complete and the fee is paid, we will email the student's FISD email account with information about picking up their device.

  • Rising Freshmen who have a Chromebook issued to them for Summer School must return that device before they can get a 1 for all device.

  • Rising Freshmen who have completed the Canvas course AND paid the one-time $20 fee by noon on July 31 will be able to pick up their Chromebooks at the LTHS library from 2:00-3:45 on August 2nd. Students who complete both steps by noon on August 5th will be able to pick up their Chromebooks on August 7 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the LTHS library. Students who do not pick up their devices at one of these times will be able to do so once school starts.

*If you still owe money from your middle school for a lost Chromebook or charger, you may not pick up your device until the fee is paid or the equipment is returned.

  • If your student has lost their Chromebook charger, you may purchase a replacement from the vendor of your choice, but it MUST be a 65W charger that goes from AC to USB-C. (Here is an example of a suitable charger)

Proof of Residency (POR) & Powerschool Registration Guidelines

URGENT: Please submit your Powerschool online registration and/or Proof of Residency as soon as possible. Schedules will ONLY be released to students who have completed the annual enrollment; furthermore, students who have NOT completed the annual enrollment requirements will not be able to attend class on the first day of school and will be withdrawn.

Documentation of a current utility bill is required to complete the registration process for all students. Please have the following information available when accessing the website to submit your student’s proof of residency:

  • Student ID #

  • School Campus

  • Student Date of birth

  • Parent/Guardian Phone number (same as on file with the school)

  • Utility Bill (gas, water or electric)

  • PDF of acceptable proof of residence

Parents with multiple students attending LTHS will need to submit proof of residency for each student individually. Once submitted the proof of residency will be reviewed by staff to verify it meets District Requirements. If we cannot accept your POR for any reason, you will be contacted for further information.

Students will not be permitted to attend classes on the first day of school without a complete online registration, a valid proof of residence on file and a CLEAR from the 2023-24 Hold List.

Students without the necessary POR will report to a staging area the first day of school and will be provided with a printed schedule. If the POR is not received by Wednesday 8/14 the student will be withdrawn.

Video Door Monitoring

Beginning on the first day of school, August 12th all visitors to Lebanon Trail HS will use the newly installed video door monitor to request access to the building or to check a student out. The front door will be monitored by LT staff before and after school. During the day, the front door, along with every exterior door will be locked. Students must present a student ID to enter school during the day and parents will present a driver’s license at the door monitor. We appreciate your patience and grace as we work through this new process in an effort to keep our students and staff safe.

Door Monitor Instructions:

  • Press the ring bell and wait for a response;

    • The ring will light up and you will hear a doorbell chime.

    • There may be a pause before you receive a response.

  • When you hear a response:

    • Hold your ID close to the camera

    • State your reason for visiting Lebanon Trail HS

  • If you are picking up a student:

    • If your driver’s license has previously been scanned, please wait outside or in your vehicle for your student.

    • You will be asked to enter the office if your driver’s license has not been scanned.

    • Report your student’s absence using the Report an Absence feature on the LTHS website or by replying to the attendance email.

** Lebanon Trail HS staff cannot accept items dropped off for students.

Communication Survey

Parents and students, please take a moment to complete this 24-25 LTHS Communication Survey linked below. We really want to make sure that we are sharing news and announcements in the way that best meets the needs of our community.

  • Create an account

  • View menus

  • Make payments

  • Apply for free and reduced meals

  • Set purchase restrictions

Closed Campus

LTHS has a closed campus lunch policy; students may not leave campus for lunch or anytime during the school day.

NO Food Deliveries or deliveries of any kind

Food deliveries (and other deliveries) for students from parents or guardians are no longer be permitted. Parents or guardians may not enter the building to deliver lunch or any other items. No outside school deliveries from sources such as UBER, Lyft or restaurant delivery will be accepted. Students are not permitted to exit the building for pickups of any kind.

Students who need to take daily medicine will need to access their medications through the nurse and will not be allowed to leave campus on a daily basis to take their medication.

School Supplies

The first day of school, students will need writing utensils, paper, a chromebook and a folder/binder. Many students choose to organize themselves with a separate A-day and B-day binder with a folder inside each binder for each individual class that day. Teachers will offer additional guidance for each class during the first few weeks of school.

Calculators are provided to students to use during class for all relevant classes. Students are not required to purchase a personal calculator. If a student elects to purchase their own calculator, the TI84 calculator is a strong choice and is used in every level of Math at FISD.

Dress Code

Parents and students please be aware that the Lebanon Trail administration will be intentional about enforcing the FISD Dress Code. In order to attend their regular classes, students will be required to be in full compliance with this policy.

Students in violation of the student dress code will be expected to change to appropriate attire (provided by the school when possible) when violations occur. Students will Not be allowed to leave campus for the purpose of changing clothes.

Student Schedule Release & Schedule Change Requests

For families who have submitted all required paperwork,

registration, and proof of residency, and have no holds, class schedules are now viewable in Home Access Center (HAC) beginning. Please click here to view a short video on “how to view your schedule in HAC.”

As a reminder, course changes are not permitted at this time unless one of the following exceptions occurs:

  • You are a senior, and you are lacking a class to graduate

  • You are a junior or a senior, and you are lacking level one of a World Language Credit.

  • You have already earned credit for an exact class that is on your schedule.

  • You are scheduled in a class more than one time (anything beyond a semester 1 and semester 2 of a full year class or a duplicate of a single semester class)

  • You have a "hole" in your schedule or are missing any of your core classes - math, science, social studies, English

  • You have decided to join or drop one of the 8 classes that are exceptions to the elective change rule of February 19th - athletics, band, choir, orchestra, drill team, color guard, debate, or Academic Decathlon.

Please access this link, starting July 31st should one of these exceptions occur: Schedule Change Request (students must use their FISD Google Account to access this form).

Please DO NOT DIRECTLY EMAIL YOUR COUNSELOR FOR A CHANGE, they will ask you to complete the form. There is space on there to type additional information if you have something you need to explain to your counselor about the change. Emailing them directly will only delay the process.

Students may also stop by the Counseling Office in person for immediate assistance, during the appropriate time below if one of the above exceptions applies.

  • 10th grade- August 2nd from 9:00am-11:00am

  • 9th grade- during Stampede on August 2nd from 4:00-6:30 pm

Please keep in mind that as counselors continue to level class sizes, student schedules may change. Student schedules will continue to be updated through Sunday, August 11th. In addition, Advisory sections will not be on the preliminary schedule, but will be included on the schedule before the first day of school. All students will need to verify their schedules again before school on August 12th in the event changes occurred.

Thank you for your understanding and patience. We look forward to a great year!
