Spreadsheets
Tech Tip Tuesday (February 24, 2026)
No, no, you're not going to break that spreadsheet.
Spreadsheets are wonderfully helpful organizers for the classroom and your professional life.
Tracking attendance, calculating grades, monitoring student progress over time, creating seating charts, organizing lesson plan timelines, mapping curriculum standards to activities, scheduling parent–teacher conferences, tracking behavior incidents, managing classroom inventory, planning unit pacing guides, logging professional development hours, tracking intervention or MTSS data.
Alright, I repped off use cases. Doing the most.

Generate a Kahoot with Brisk Teaching!
Kahoot is always a classroom favorite, but they can take some time to make!
Brisk now lets K–12 educators turn any Brisk-generated quiz into a live Kahoot in just a few clicks. From quick warm-ups and mid-lesson checks to pre-test reviews, Friday recap games, and small-group stations, teachers can create questions in Brisk, choose Kahoot as the output, and send the quiz directly to your Kahoot account. The integration runs through the Brisk Chrome extension, supports one grade level and language per quiz, and everything remains fully editable in Kahoot.
Schoology VirtCon
Schoology hosts a yearly virtual conference for educators. Sessions are from Schoology developers and everyday teachers using it to maximize student engagement and organization.
Check out any of the recorded sessions ranging from making Schoology friendly for elementary learners to efficiency tips to collaborating in groups!
Live captions through any computer
Not everyone can hear or understand what you’re saying based on your words. ZipCaptions is a free website that allows someone to caption your words in their language of choice. No login is needed, and no data is stored beyond your current session. There is an account feature via login with Google, but that is only to save certain settings.
