A special shoutout goes to Mrs. McMaster for organizing a wonderful NJHS Induction Ceremony on Monday evening. It was an inspiring night celebrating Strayer students who consistently serve as role models through their leadership, character, and commitment to others. Their accomplishments reflect the best of what it means to be Strayer Strong.

First Marking Period Awards Ceremony – Tomorrow!

We are excited to celebrate our students’ accomplishments during the First Marking Period Awards Ceremony tomorrow, Monday, November 24, 2025!

  • 8th Grade Ceremony: 8:30–9:10 AM
  • 7th Grade Ceremony: 9:25–10:05 AM

A general email was sent to all families stating that students achieving Honor Roll and Distinguished Honor Roll will also be recognized at tomorrow’s ceremony. Families of students receiving a subject-area award or a Strayer Stronger Award were notified last week via email as well. All families of students being recognized—whether for subject-area awards, Strayer Stronger Awards, Honor Roll, or Distinguished Honor Roll—are warmly invited to attend.

Because school will be in session, all visitors must sign in with the Attendance Secretary and present a photo ID to receive a visitor pass. Parents had the chance to pre-check in on Thursday (11/20) or Friday (11/21) during regular school hours. Pre-checked visitor passes will be ready for pickup on Monday morning.

For families unable to join us in person, we will livestream the ceremony so everyone can share in celebrating our Panthers’ achievements.

We look forward to honoring the hard work and dedication of our students!

Cold and flu season has started. Now is a great time to get you and your student the flu vaccine. Covid vaccines are available also, ask your doctor if you qualify for one. Included is a flier about when to keep kids home due to illness and when they can return to school. Thank you for helping to keep our school healthy!

Two other fliers are provided to help families with managing medications at home and health resources from St.Luke's for both physical and mental health needs. Please reach out to the Strayer nurses using the smsnurses@qcsd.org if you have health concerns regarding your student.
