Helpful Reminders!
Supervision begins and doors open at 7:30. Please do not drop off students before 7:30 for their safety.
Work continues on the Tree Lane Bridge Rehabilitation Project. Please be cautious as you are driving through this area.
Thank you for starting the drop off lines at the designated signs in the front and back parking lots. This allows for our staff and Safety Patrol to enter the parking lots without issue.
The front car rider line begins by traveling on Oak Lake Drive and wrapping around to Garden Lake Drive in order to make a left hand turn into the parking lot.
The back car rider line begins on the north side of Tree Lane in order to make a right hand turn into the back parking lot.
Safety Patrol begins next week. Our Safety Patrol members will open doors closest to the building in order for our bears to exit and enter vehicles safely. Students should not be released from their vehicles on the driver's side of the car due to other vehicles passing.
Please remain in your vehicles during drop off and pickup in the front and back parking lots. Safety Patrol will assist in opening and closing car doors. Have your child practice buckling themself in whether it is a seat belt or car seat.

Absences
Please remember to send in an excuse if your child is absent from school. This excuse can be emailed, handwritten or submitted electronically using the absence form. Thank you for your help with this!

Fill out the online absence form at humbleisd.net/attendancecontacts -or-
Email the campus attendance office -or-
Send in a paper note, or take a photo with your phone and send it to the attendance office -or-
Call the school’s attendance office
For medical or dental appointments:
Get a note at the appointment and upload it into the online absence form at humbleisd.net/attendancecontacts -or-
Turn it in to the attendance office within 48 hours.
Did You Know?
Dated health care appointment notes allow the school to mark your child present if they attended any part of the school day, such as before or after their appointment.
When students stay in school until 10 a.m. (Elementary) or 10:40 a.m. (Middle School), it ensures the school receives full funding for the day. Your support in ensuring your child’s attendance not only helps them academically, but also boosts the school’s success.
Thank you for partnering with us to provide the best educational experience for our students. For more information, please visit Important Attendance Information for Parents or view the Attendance Reminders for Elementary & Middle School flyer.
BBE SPIRIT STORE OPENS AUGUST 5th!
