Below, you will find important information about McKinney-Vento and the resources available to assist you and your student.

What is the McKinney-Vento Act?
This federal law helps highly mobile students—those without a fixed, regular nighttime residence—access education and essential resources.

What We Offer:

• Immediate Enrollment: Enroll without needing an address or immunization records (we’ll help you get these later).
• Transportation Assistance: We help students stay in their current school when possible.
• Waived Activity Fees: Fees for field trips and extracurricular activities may be covered.
• School Supplies: We provide necessary supplies through donations to SD27J.
• Community Resources: Connect with organizations for help with utilities, healthcare, food, and more.

To receive food, you must make an appointment, which will reduce your wait time. Please park in the lot at St. Augustine Church; distribution will not occur in the alley.

We are open every week. You can receive food once a week, with an appointment.

Options for receiving food:

1. Box Delivery: Pre-selected box in your car. (No substitutions allowed).
2. In-Person: Choose items inside the Food Bank.

Complete your registration with the Food Bank of the Rockies (Link2Feed). All clients must bring the signed Client Agreement to their first appointment.

If you need help, leave a message at 303-654-1040 or come by on Monday 12-2 PM, Tuesday 12-7 PM.
