Main Street Roar

🐯 A Roaring Week at Main Street!

What a wonderful week at Main Street! Thank you to all of our families who joined us for Back to School Night! We loved having the opportunity to connect with you, share important information, and celebrate the start of another exciting school year together. We can’t wait to continue building strong partnerships with our families throughout the year!

Below, you’ll find some key information that was shared during Back to School Night, including Title I information and our PTO sign-up. We encourage all families to take a few minutes to review these resources and get connected!

📅 Important Reminder: No School Monday

A reminder to our Main Street families that there will be no school on Monday, September 21st, in observance of Yom Kippur. We look forward to welcoming our scholars back on Tuesday!

🏠 PBIS Houses Are Off to a ROARING Start!

This week, we kicked off our PBIS Houses, and our scholars had a blast receiving their brand-new House shirts! 🏠🐯 House shirts may be worn as part of scholars’ uniforms. Our first official PBIS House Meeting will take place on October 21st. We are excited to see our Houses continue to build community, school spirit, and connection throughout the year!

🎉 Celebrating FANTASTIC Attendance!

We have something BIG to celebrate! Our scholars showed up ready to learn this week, and we are currently at an incredible 93% Average Daily Attendance (ADA)! 🎉

As a special celebration, scholars were rewarded with a popsicle party! Thank you to our families for helping make attendance a priority. Every day at school is another opportunity to Learn, Lead, Succeed, Together!

📌 Coming Up at Main Street

🦷 Dental Screenings: Dental screenings will continue next week.

📸 Picture Day: Mark your calendars for October 5th! More information will be shared as we get closer to the big day.

🐯 Main Street Cups Are Here!

Show your Main Street pride! Main Street cups are now available for just $3! Scholars can purchase their very own cup from Mrs. Islam at the front desk. Please remember that cash only will be accepted.

Thank you for being an important part of the Main Street family! We are off to a ROARING start, and we’re excited for all that is ahead! 🐯💙💛
