Spartans Update

Working Together- Growing Together- Thriving Together
🐝 Welcome Back, Spartan Families!
Spartan Families,
Thank you to all our families who supported our Fall Festival! Your participation makes our Spartan community so special.
🍯 Learning and Growing Together
Our focus continues to be on helping students think critically, solve problems, and explain their reasoning. At home, encourage your child to share what they learned and explain how they solved problems.
📚 Attendance Matters!
As we begin the second quarter, remember that every instructional minute counts! Please ensure your child attends school daily and arrives on time. Consistent attendance is essential to academic success.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we will make this another successful quarter for our Spartans!
Working Together. Growing Together. Thriving Together. 🐝💙💛
Sincerely,
Mrs. Poblano
Principal, East Point Spartans

Tardy Policy
We would like to remind everyone of our campus tardy policy and the importance of arriving at school on time each day. Our tardy bell rings at 7:45 AM, and we want all our Spartans to be in class and ready to learn!
As a reminder, students who accumulate 4 or more tardies will be required to attend after-school detention on Fridays from 2:45–3:30 PM.
Please keep in mind that attending detention does not excuse future tardies. If a student continues to accumulate additional tardies after serving detention, they will be required to attend detention again. Continued tardiness may also result in parent conferences with our school counselor and administration, as well as disciplinary referrals if the concern continues.
Students who are required to stay for detention on a particular Friday will receive a paper notification with the date and details of their assigned detention. Please be sure to review the notice and make the necessary arrangements to pick up your child promptly at 3:30 PM.
Our goal is not to punish students but to work together with families to build good attendance habits and ensure students do not miss valuable instructional time.
We appreciate your support in making sure your child arrives at school every day and on time. Together, we can help our Spartans develop responsibility and start each school day successfully!
Thank you for your continued support!
