School starts next week on Wednesday, August 14th at 9:00am, with collaborative schedule dismissal at 2:26pm). Please read the important information in this newsletter regarding the first day, schedules and more.

Please complete the Household Income Survey for 2024-25 on ParentSquare before the start of school! This form is essential in bringing significant funds to our school.

• We are appreciative of all the families that have already filled out the forms. Paper copies are available in the office as well, if that is more convenient. Please call the office if you are having trouble accessing these forms. 707-421-4225.

Electronic copies of the 2024-2025 Parent/Student Handbook are available in English and Español. The handbook is also accessible on the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District's website under the “Menu” dropdown, or by clicking HERE. If you prefer a printed copy, please contact our school office.

• As of Friday, August 9th students should review their schedule in their Aeries Student Portal. Parents can also view their child's schedule on the Aeries Parent Portal.
• If you have problems logging in to see your schedule, on the first day there will be staff on hand to direct all students to their first period class. All students will receive a paper copy of their class schedule.
• An important note regarding schedules: We may need to adjust student schedules within the first 15 days of school per the teacher union contract. While we understand that students may not want the change, we have a responsibility to balance classes within contractual limits.

Breakfast opens at 8:30am. All students are welcome to eat breakfast (all students may receive a free breakfast and lunch at school again this year). Students are welcome to bring lunches from home as well. If a student would like a 2nd breakfast or lunch they will need to have money placed on their LINQ connect account. Per our student handbook and as a reminder food deliveries (door dash, Uber eats etc.) are not permitted.

Students should bring a charged Chromebook, and basic supplies, such as pencils, pens, folder, lined paper to school on the first day. Teachers will discuss any other necessary supplies in class. Students that do not have an FSUSD issued Chromebook will be issued one.

We're excited to introduce this year's main fundraiser, the Wildcats Color Run. Our goal this year is to raise $5,000 for student activities and supporting teachers to benefit ALL students at B. Gale Wilson Elementary.
