Dear Parents and Families,

As summer begins to wind down, we are excited to welcome our students and families back for another wonderful school year! We hope you have enjoyed a safe, relaxing, and memorable summer and are looking forward to the year ahead.

The first day of school (September 1st) will be here before we know it, and our staff has been busy preparing classrooms, organizing schedules, and getting everything ready to welcome students back. We can't wait to see familiar faces and meet the new families joining our school community.

As you prepare for the start of the school year, please take a few moments to:

• Verify that your contact information and emergency contacts are up to date.
• Complete any required registration forms or paperwork.
• Watch for important back-to-school information regarding schedules, transportation, supply lists, and upcoming events.
• Mark your calendars for our OPEN HOUSE, Wednesday, August 26th 2-6pm
• OPEN HOUSE will have food provided 4-6pm

The school office will be open to assist you with any questions you may have before the school year begins. Whether you need help with enrollment, transportation, attendance procedures, or general information, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to help make the transition back to school as smooth as possible.

Referendum to Address Essential Financial Needs

All families are required to complete a transportation form each school year.

If your student will be riding a Lakeland Area Bus, please take a few moments to complete the transportation form using the link below.

Submitting the form annually helps ensure the transportation information is accurate and up to date for the upcoming school year.

Lakeland Area Bus Service will be at our back to school Open House, Wednesday, August 26th, 2-6pm. If there are any questions you may have, stop by.

Dear MJ1 Families,

Due to current circumstances, we feel compelled to remind you that we have community resources available to help with food related needs. We have included a Google form sign-up for Hope in a Backpack, Thanksgiving Meals, and Christmas Meals. If your family is interested, please sign-up for the ones you would like and we will contact you with more information. We have also linked a food resource guide from FORK, Oneida, and Vilas counties with available food security resources in our area. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Sandstrom.
