AVA Family Update

April 26, 2026

AVA Family UpdateApril 26, 2026

Good afternoon AVA students and families,

I have the usual schedule, guidance, and community updates below.

We enter the stretch run tomorrow for all students, with Seniors dealing with more of a sprint. If you have any questions about your student's academic standing, don't hesitate to reach out. I reached out to all students and their families before break to let them know if I had any concerns, but I welcome conversations about how students can best spend the last moments of the school year.

Thank you for your time.

Reminder for All Families:

Every school day matters for student success. Research shows that regular attendance supports confidence, reduces stress, and builds strong habits for the future. While we recognize the value of family time and enrichment activities, families are reminded to consider the impact of any missed class time. Vacation/extracurricular absences are unexcused and represent learning time that cannot be recovered. We look forward to seeing all students as we return to school next Monday, April 27, 2025!
