Message From the Office

Dear Families,

As we enter November, we reflect on a busy and productive fall and look forward to the opportunities this month brings. With the end of the semester approaching, our focus remains on supporting each student in their academic and personal growth.

We encourage you to check in with your student(s) about their progress and remind them to reach out for support if needed. Our teachers, counselor, and staff are here to help every step of the way.

We will host our Annual Veteran's Day Assembly on November 11 at 9:00 a.m. This event is a meaningful tradition, and we look forward to honoring those who have served.

We want to express gratitude to our entire Jayhawk community—students, families, and staff alike—for your dedication, resilience, and support. Together, we are making strides in building a positive school environment.

* For those Seniors that are needing help on anything from applying to college or even figuring out what they want to do after high school please stop by Mr. Kramer's office for help.

* Mr. Spencer and I were able to secure two $1,000 dollar scholarships for anyone that plans on an Engineering Technology degree at Pittsburg State. Please see Mr. Kramer if you are interested.

* 11-14-24 Pratt Community College is hosting a Technical Education day on campus/ Deadline to Register is 11-1-24. Click here to register

* 11-26-24 ACT Prep Day with Chad Cargill on the morning of November 26th from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Prairie View High School : Cost is $40. Please see Mr. Kramer if you are interested. We will provide transportation.

* The FAFSA opens up 12-1-24. A few days after it opens up Mr. Kramer will designate a time at school to help any senior that needs help with their FAFSA.
