Introducing our Impact Report
You Helped Raise $245K+ for GLOBE!
Dear GLOBE Community,
We are excited to introduce The GLOBE Academy’s 2025–2026 Impact Report, a reflection of a remarkable year of growth, progress and community.
This report highlights the achievements, experiences and investments that helped shape the school year—from opening our new Lower Campus and advancing our strategic priorities to strengthening dual language immersion, supporting our educators, and deepening family engagement. Most importantly, it showcases the collective impact made possible through the dedication of our students, staff, families, volunteers, donors and community partners.
As you explore these pages, we hope you will see the many ways our community came together to support student success and advance GLOBE’s mission of developing globally minded citizens equipped to make a positive impact in the world.

Annual Fund & GLOBE Trot Results
As we close the 2025–2026 Annual Fund campaign, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to every family, faculty member, community partner and friend who invested in GLOBE this year.
Thank you to our Annual Fund Donors and Sponsors!
Because of your generosity, we have raised an incredible $245,819.81 in support of our students, teachers and school.
Our fundraising goal for 2025–2026 was $300,000, and thanks to your support:
Annual Fund: $124,745.00 raised (83% of goal)
GLOBE Trot: $121,074.81 raised (80% of goal)
Every gift made a difference. Most importantly, your participation demonstrated a shared commitment to ensuring every GLOBE student has access to the resources, experiences and opportunities they deserve.
Your Support in Action
As a free public charter school, GLOBE does not receive Georgia’s Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) funding for facilities, technology or capital improvements. Community support helps bridge that gap and provides resources that directly enhance the student experience.

Participation in regional and national education conferences
Open Up Resources mathematics curriculum training
In-house professional learning opportunities
Specialized instructional training to support diverse learners
Software and digital learning tools used across both campuses

Spotlight on the International Dyslexia Conference
In October, GLOBE teachers attended the International Dyslexia Association’s annual event, DyslexiaCon 25, in Atlanta, from October 23–25, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Downtown. It featured three days of research, advocacy, and structured literacy workshops. Under Georgia’s Early Literacy and Dyslexia Act (HB 307), all public schools must universally screen K–3 students for reading difficulties and dyslexia characteristics three times per year.
The objectives of this year’s conference were (1) to unveil the 2025 Dyslexia definition, which was the first major revision since 2002; (2) provide educator and practitioner training on structured literacy, evidence-based reading interventions, and strategies K–12 staff can use to support neurodiverse students in the classroom; and (3) create a space for networking and advocacy, allowing teachers, parents, clinicians, and individuals with dyslexia to share experiences, challenge associated stigmas and advocate for better educational support and state policies.
Shoutout to Our Amazing Volunteers and Sponsors!
Thank you to all the parents and community members who lent their time, energy and positivity to support our fundraising efforts through GLOBE Trot and the Development Committee.
