We’re 7 weeks into the school year, and we’re starting to see an increase in illnesses throughout our school community. Let’s work together to keep everyone healthy and learning!

When Should Your Student Stay Home?

Please keep your student home if they have:

• Fever: A temperature of 100°F or higher

  • Students should be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication before returning to school.

• Vomiting or Diarrhea:

  • Students should be free from vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school.

Help Us Track What’s Going Around!

• When calling your student in absent due to illness, please share their symptoms with the school.

• This information helps us monitor illness trends and identify what may be circulating in our schools.

Stop the Spread!

Please remind your students to:

• Wash hands often with soap and water.

• Wash hands before eating and after using the restroom.

• Cover coughs and sneezes.

• Avoid sharing food, drinks, and personal items.

• Stay home when sick.

Thank you for helping us keep our students, staff, and school community healthy!
