Last week, I struggled a lot ...
I was working on this lion puzzle that Flo gave me. It was tough because the pieces aren't traditional shapes. They didn't "click" in and were easily shifted around if you weren't careful. To tell you the truth, and I'm sorry, Flo, it was not fun!!! There were some days, when I could only figure out one or two pieces. I was confident that I must be missing pieces because it just wasn't coming together! Then one day, things started clicking, I started to see how the shapes came together, and voila all of a sudden this complete picture was in front of my eyes!
It was tough, but I was glad in the end that I kept going. I will absolutely be preserving this puzzle together somehow. I have a second puzzle, with the same type of wooden msc shapes from Flo. On the one hand, I don't want to start it. But on the other, I know it'll be worth it in the end.
I think you can glean some life lessons from this! God's word says it best:
- Romans 5:3–5: Suffering produces perseverance. Perseverance builds character. Character builds hope.
- Galatians 6:9: Do not get tired of doing good. You will harvest a reward at the right time if you do not give up.
- James 1:2–4: Treat hard tests as joy. Testing your faith makes your endurance grow. Let it finish its work so you become strong.
- 2 Corinthians 4:16–18: Do not lose heart. Your outer self may struggle, but your inner self is made new every day.
Next Sunday we will have youth participating in the worship service. Please join us!

LIFE GROUPS - MORE DETAILS TO COME
Life Groups
This year, we'd like to put concerted effort into Life Groups - small groups that gather once a week to touch base, talk over the message, and pray. These groups can be put together for you or you can gather a group of friends to meet with a specific purpose in mind - to encourage each other in your walk with Christ. We have Pray & Go books that we'd like to go through as a church in this Life Groups. Please fill out form below if you are interested. Our goal is to get Life Groups started in September.
