Get ready for an evening of hands-on fun and exploration at the STEM2Career Expo on Wednesday, March 26th, from 5:00-7:00pm at Vista High School!
We believe that when we talk about STEM and Careers that we need to Start Early and Finish Strong. With that, we encourage you to bring the whole family to experience amazing STEM activities with over 1,000 students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through Twelfth Grade. Watch as over 360 students take on the Catapult Challenge in the Quad. Participants will be able to explore interactive booths in the Gym that will showcase coding, LEGO Robotics, parachute drops, penny boat challenges, UV light shelters, infrared astronomy, seed bomb making, and much more!
This year is extra special as we combine STEM Fest from previous years and the CTE Showcase, giving families a chance to explore exciting Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways offered at our high schools. Discover hands-on stations featuring culinary arts, virtual welding, stage lighting & sound engineering, construction, auto mechanics, computer engineering, graphic design, video game design, first responder training, and more! In addition, local businesses will be there to share how STEM plays a role in their industries—some of these businesses even employ VUSD high school interns!
Food will be available for purchase, doors open at 5:00pm — don’t miss out on this exciting night of discovery and fun for the whole family! See you at the Expo!
