Educational Benefits Form
Principal Points
- Educational Benefits Forms - Families will get messages and a paper copy of the EBF if it has not already been returned. Our program in particular relies on the funds tied to the percentage of our families that return those forms. We do not need the family income range indicated on the paper forms for those to be considered completed. In the past, that has been a privacy concern for parents, and I just want to assure everyone that we are listening to your concerns and trying to balance that with the needs to meet educational funding requirements. We also want to thank all of those who have already filled out these forms for the year.
- School Climate Survey - Our parent, student, and staff School Climate Surveys will be conducted over the next two weeks. Parents should have already had an opportunity to Opt Out via the google form sent out recently. If you do not want your student to do the School Climate Survey, please contact Mr. McCallum by Monday, October 19th. We always appreciate student and parent feedback, it helps us to make informed decisions to improve our school.
- Sign Up for Parent Teacher Conferences - Please sign up for PTCs with your student(s)'s Advisory Teacher. These can be in person or by phone and should take 10-15 minutes. They will run similar to the Monthly Review Meetings for those of you who already attended one of those in September or early October. Testing results, progress reports, and a review of graduation requirements will be the key information shared.

Points of Mustang PRIDE
Great Attendance
We are very proud of our students and grateful to our families for ensuring students are communicating with their teachers about their academics. We have had between 89% to 99% attendance each week this fall! Keep up the great work as learning coaches by confirming those communications are taking place.
Positive Behavior
We have had very limited referrals this school year. The main area of concern at this point is cell phone possession in the classroom. Starting Monday, students that do not show a teacher their phone going into a locker or the Phone Home will be addressed by the office.
Academic Progress
Our first goal for each marking period is for each student to get courses completed and over 43% of our school has already met that benchmark as of Monday!
Bake Sale!
Ms. Ruiz and Jozlyn worked with other Student Link members to get the Bake Sale set up.
Goodbye Goodies!
Students and staff bought up almost all of the baked goods at our fundraiser!
Raffle Winners Circle
These were just some of the students that won prizes at our Raffle. The next event is in 6 weeks. Every 10 PRIDE Tickets = 1 Raffle Ticket.
