Dear Wauwatosa Montessori School Community:

This week Ms. Emily’s class facilitated learning of the election process with Mock Candy Elections. All of the classes had visits from Ms. Emily’s students and partook in the election process. Students in groups chose a favorite candy. The students needed to come up with a slogan and then they needed to create a skit to encourage people to vote for their candy. They also made posters with their slogans. The students then performed their skits to their class and then groups of students went throughout the school to conduct elections! Every class was able to participate in the election process.

Throughout the month of November we focus on gratitude at Wauwatosa Montessori School. Students have been engaging in a variety of developmentally appropriate activities to foster their learning of this important virtue.
