FEBRUARY 2022 NEWSLETTER

Message from Ms. Johnson, Principal

Amazing things are happening here at Ogden Elementary, and we are preparing to finish strong this year. Please remind scholars to wear their masks to school daily. We also want to encourage students to utilize ST Math and Amplify to support their learning while not on campus. Rocket Academy is happening for 3rd-5th grade on 2/12 and 2/26 from 8:00-11:30, students must have their own transportation. Thank you for all of your support this year.

On Tuesday, February 1, 2022, we will be celebrating the 100th day of school. Students are to dress like a 100-year-old person. Some ideas include glasses, gray hair, curled hair, sweaters, and bow ties. Get as creative as you can! Thank you for your help in making this day fun and memorable.

The month of February, we are celebrating Black History Month all month long. During this time, each Wednesday students will be able to wear appropriate attire that celebrates historical/important figures in Black History. T-shirts cannot reflect any violence or illegal activities.

National Wear Red Day is a holiday in which men and women wear the color red to raise awareness about the number one health problem that affects American women – heart disease. Students are encouraged to wear red on February 3.

We are important and bring something valuable to this thing called life. Work hard, relax and enjoy.
