Weekly Update October 30, 2026

This is one of our favorite times of year at Strive - we LOVE an excuse to dress up and have fun with the kids!

In Brighton, we have the All Barbie Team!

In Burton, we showed our Care Bear Pride!

Rather than follow a traditional party format, we like to spread our fun activities for the kids throughout the day. It helps make the fun last longer, and it also reduces stress for children who are more comfortable with a schedule and advance warning. We add holiday themed fun into our regularly scheduled activities and just keep the fun going all day long!

Greta started at Strive in February of 2023 but has been a Registered Behavior Technician since 2018. She has experience as a general manager and has also worked with children of all ages.

Greta has a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Florida National University and a Master’s Degree from Oakland University for Special Education with a concentration in ABA.

While Greta primarily works in our Burton location, she has been splitting her time between both locations during Danielle's maternity leave in Brighton. Greta has worked as an RBT, Lead Therapist, and Behavior Specialist during her three years at Strive.

In her free time Greta enjoys to cook, read and travel with family. She especially loves to be outside.

Many parents may not be aware of our social media, and we'd love for you to follow us! We share tips and tricks for families, staff birthdays and work anniversaries, and other info.

Here are some upcoming dates that the centers will be closed:

Wednesday, November 25 - Friday, November 27th - Both centers closed for Thanksgiving

Monday, December 21st - Friday, January 1st - Both centers closed for holiday break

If your family is planning a longer absence around one of those dates, or at another time, please let us know as soon as you are able!
