Preschool Newsletter

I can't believe we have just a little over a week left of school. The days were long, but the year seemed to fly by. I know there is a lot happening, so hopefully this newsletter will keep you up to date on all the end of year happenings. I am not going to be adding any new pictures in this newsletter, I have been stock piling them for the end of the year slideshow. I will be sure to send the slideshow out, after the last day of school.

Field Day

Field day is Friday, June 7th. Preschoolers will get an hour in the bounce house in the morning from 10-11 and then will partake in field day activities from 12-1. Students will want to be dressed comfortably for playing and moving around. It looks like we are going to luck out and have perfect weather for an outdoor field day, so sunscreen is encouraged.

I am still looking for a couple more parent volunteers for the 12-1 field day time. You would help out by taking a small group of preschoolers around to different stations. You do need an approved background check on file to volunteer. If you are able to help, please let me know.

Last Day of Preschool 🏫

Preschool's last day of school will be Tuesday June 11th. It will be a full day, drop off starting at 8:00 and pick up at 2:15.

Preschool Promotion 🎓

On the last day of school, Tuesday June 11th from 1:30 - 2:00, we will be having a celebration for students who are moving onto kindergarten. Invitations and RSVPs went home last week. If you have lost your RSVP, please just email me (ruthsl@nknsd.org) how many will be coming to the celebration. Invites are only for families with a preschooler moving onto kindergarten.

School Carnival 🎪

The Garibaldi Parent group will be hosting the school Carnival on Thursday, June 13th from 4-7pm.

If you are wanting to volunteer, have questions, or are a vendor, there will be a carnival meeting on Sunday June 2nd at 6pm. There is both an in-person and zoom option for this meeting.
