Our Spring Musical is Here! Get Your Tickets to "Urinetown"
“In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!" (MTI.)
Make Your Donations to Anew Homewood
In order to continue efforts to keep our school connected to the community, the HF Thespians will be collecting donations for Anew Homewood (P.O. Box 937 Homewood, IL 60430). Anew provides caring and confidential help to victims of domestic violence.
Suggested donations are: Bathroom cleaners (toilet bowl cleaner, soap scum remover, etc)*; hand soap and body wash*, toilet paper*, shampoo/conditioner, including African American hair care products*, paper towels, tooth paste, feminine hygiene products. (*Higher need of these items.)
Donations may be dropped off today, April 17 between 4 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. at the South Building Performing Arts Center Entrance Door 9 or on show nights as ticket holders make their way to the Auditorium for the show.

Come See HF Debaters in Real Time!
HF's debate team is putting on their last public debate of the year so students and families can watch our senior state champs and national qualifiers debate in real time! Join us in the North Cafeteria (off Governors Hwy) on Wednesday, April 24th at 7 p.m. Admission is $3 per person and the audience will submit their ballot to decide the winner!
The topic being debated is: Resolved: The United States federal government should repeal Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. What does this resolution mean? In short, if Section 230 was repealed it would open up the possibility for social media companies like Facebook to be held liable for things like hate speech and violent rhetoric that might appear on their platform. We hope to see you there!
