Dear Members of Our School Community,

As we close another school year, I find myself reflecting with gratitude on the many moments that made this year so special. From academic accomplishments and artistic performances to athletic successes and acts of kindness, our students have demonstrated curiosity, perseverance, and compassion in countless ways. Their achievements remind us each day of the extraordinary potential that exists within our school community.

This year's successes are the result of a true partnership. I am deeply grateful to our dedicated educators, support staff, administrators, families, and community partners who work tirelessly to support our students and help them thrive. Together, we have continued to build a school community where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to grow.

I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to Jeremy Ross for his years of dedicated service to our students, staff, and families. Jeremy's leadership and commitment have made a lasting impact on our school community, and we wish him all the best in his next chapter.

In addition, I would like to recognize and thank those staff members who are retiring or moving on to new opportunities. Each of you has made a meaningful contribution to our school community, and your dedication has left a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and families. We are grateful for your service and wish you nothing but success, happiness, and fulfillment in the next chapter of your journey.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to our vision of One School, One Community, One Team and to continuing the important work of supporting every student who walks through our doors.

I hope this summer brings time for rest, relaxation, adventure, and connection with family and friends. Thank you for your continued support of St. Johnsbury School and for the many ways you contribute to our success. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall and building on the accomplishments of this year together.

Wishing you a safe, happy, and enjoyable summer.

Sincerely,

Karen E. Conroy

"CatCH Me If You Can" Fun Run Brings Community Together

Rain couldn't dampen the spirit of St. Johnsbury as more than 52 runners and walkers participated in the inaugural CatCH Me If You Can Fun Run! The event brought together students, families, staff, and community members to celebrate wellness and support CatCH, our free summer and afterschool program. Education Reform Bill Update: H.955

The Vermont Legislature has approved H.955, An act relating to next steps in transforming Vermont's education system. The legislation outlines the next phase of education reform in Vermont, including the creation of Cooperative Educational Service Areas (CESAs), regional governance studies, and additional work on education finance and district organization.

In response to this legislation, St. Johnsbury School District and the Caledonia Cooperative School District plan to undertake a joint regional merger and governance study to explore opportunities for collaboration and assess how best to serve students, families, and our communities in the years ahead. This study is an important opportunity to evaluate options thoughtfully and engage stakeholders in conversations about the future of public education in our region.

We will continue to monitor the implementation of H.955 closely and keep our school community informed as more details become available.
