Sycamore Springs

Rising 6th Grade Newsletter

April 13, 2026

Hello Rising 6th Grade Families,

I hope you and your family are enjoying the spring season and beginning to look forward to the exciting transition to Sycamore Springs Middle School!

We are especially excited about our upcoming Tigers Rise event on May 14. This is a great opportunity for your student to visit campus, meet new friends, and start getting comfortable in their new school environment. We have a fun and engaging day planned, including campus tours, games, a pep rally, and lunch at the stadium. We cannot wait to meet each of our future Tigers!

We know that the move to middle school is an important milestone—one that brings both excitement and a few nerves. Our goal is for this newsletter to serve as a helpful and reliable resource as we partner with you to ensure a smooth and successful start to your student’s middle school journey.

We are truly excited to welcome your family to SSMS and look forward to an amazing year ahead.

Go Tigers!

Sincerely,

Kelly Miller

Principal
