Dear Winnona Park Families,
We’re excited to share that your child’s report card for the first semester will be available for review today at 4:00pm. You can access it through the Parent Portal.
This is a valuable opportunity to celebrate your child’s accomplishments and identify areas where they can grow. If you have any questions or concerns about their progress, please feel free to reach out to their teacher.
Thank you for your continued support in your child’s education!
Sincerely,
Greg Wiseman

Winnona Park Still Needs Your Help
Thank you to the 10 of you who completed the Georgia School climate survey over the winter break. However, as you can see, we are not near the 77% response rate we achieved last year. Please take a few moments to complete this survey for us. The data is important to us! Here’s the link.
From the Counselor’s Office
I want to make sure that you’re aware of a letter that came home in your child’s Thursday folder today. This letter outlines the child safety lessons that counselors will deliver across the district, as mandated by state law. CSD has chosen the A21 curriculum (we formerly used the Child Lures curriculum). Please see the letter in the communication folder (or linked above) for details. In the lessons I teach with your students, I will cover the Character Development and Relationship Boundaries standards. Students will be exposed to rights and responsibilities and digital safety content in health and library classes, respectively.
If you prefer that your child not participate in these safety lessons, please email me, as directed in the letter linked above. These lessons will begin for some students on Monday, 9, 2026.
Thank you,
Lindsey Hicks, Ed.D.
School Counselor
From Ms. Zeff in the Library
As we have just returned from a school break, I sent out overdue notices this afternoon. Please email me with any questions at izeff@csdecatur.net. If you can't find the books at home, I can help your student look for them here at school.
Thank you!
Ilene Zeff, Librarian
